The secret is in the tower.
The problem is the beast.
The answer is two thieves. |
| When a destitute young woman hires
two thieves to help save her remote village from nocturnal
attacks, they are drawn into the schemes of the wizard
Esrahaddon. While Royce struggles to breech the secrets of an
ancient elven tower, Hadrian attempts to rally the villagers to
defend themselves against the unseen killer. What begins
with the simple theft of a sword places the two thieves at the
center of a firestorm
— that could change the future of
Elan. |

"I was quite eager to see if the book
would live up to the expectations raised by
Mr.
Sullivan’s
marvelous debut. I am happy to report that not only did
“Avempartha”
meet
expectations, but it took the series to
another level, ensuring that the future
installments will
be
must-reads." —

"Avempartha is another strong entry
that exceeds its predecessor in both depth an scope.
The Riyria Revelations is shaping up to be one of
the most original and entertaining fantasy
series I’ve seen in years on par, and often better,
than anything any of the
major publishers have to offer."

"I HIGHLY
recommend both books, and cannot wait until the next
is released! I have to
also say that Michael J. Sullivan is quickly
becoming one o
f my favorite authors!" —

They chose poorly. |

the unwitting scapegoats in a plot to murder the

""This is by far one of the most well
written independent novels I have had the pleasure of
reading.
I highly recommend it to both lovers of fantasy,
and
also those who like stories along the lines
of the King
Arthur legends,
and the tales of the Green Knight." —

"Great characters, delightful misdirection, good world
building, and just the right amount of humor. If I had to
describe this book with one word, that word would be fun!"

Both novels are part of the multi-book series The
Riyria Revelations. Throughout this epic tale
mysteries build, characters evolve, and plots
thicken. However, each book is self-contained and
can be enjoyed independently of each other. |
  |
Instead of a series of sequels, Riyria
was conceived as a single epic tale
divided into individual episodes. The entire series
was conceived and written before the first book was
released. Unlike a series of sequels, these
individual episodes are designed to work
independently or together. While there is an
overarching story arc across the novels, each one is
self-contained with its own conflict and resolution.
With The Riyria Revelations, you don't have to read
the next one...you simply will want to. |

ABOUT THE SERIES
Nyphron Rising (Available October 2009) is book three of the multi-book saga: The Riyria
Revelations. Instead of a string of sequels this
six-book fantasy series was conceived as a single
epic tale divided into individual episodes. All were
written before the first was released so that plot
elements are intertwined, yet each is self-contained
and can be read independently from each other.
Nyphron Rising can be enjoyed by those who have not read
the first two episodes: The Crown Conspiracy and
Avempartha.
